NOW AVAILABLE AT BOOKSTORES AND AMAZON!!!
My third book, a Young Adult non-fiction travel journal called
The Best Worst Summer Ever is now out, just in time for the summer reading season.
Thanks to all the Bookcrossers that commented on and helped us pick the cover!!!

My second book, Strictly Liable, is finished and available now

ALL of the proceeds from both of these books benefit the
Anne B. Kingsley Ovarian Cancer Foundation!!

Thanks to Bookcrossing's own ArJohn for the first glowing review:

"When the California town of Playa Bonita is named in a federal pollution suit things look bad for Julie Woodruff, the Director of the town’s public works. To add to the stew, things get worse; there are charges specifically naming her. A criminal case against her for doing her job? The laws and reasons for enforcing them are all explored in M.T. Kingsley’s latest novel, Strictly Liable. The tension, fears and drama of a pending court case that could even lead to prison for Ms. Woodruff unfolds in front of the reader. The emotional rollercoaster is given a turbo-charged twist when a gruesome murder further tightens the legal net around a person who only wishes to do good for her family and community.

Kingsley’s second novel, Strictly Liable, shows us that the award winning With Malicious Intent was just a jumping off point. What starts out as a straightforward legal thriller soon evolves into plots for revenge, murder and even environmental crimes.

Make sure you have everything you need before you start reading Strictly Liable. You won’t be leaving your seat until you are done!"

Rick Buda (Author of WolfPointe)

Who is M.T. Kingsley?
I am the parent of two lovely girls, a horse, a dog, a cockatiel, and a cat.
I am also an environmental lawyer, a wanna-be equestrian,
and an author whose first two novels were awarded the
LiFE (Literature for the Environment) Award.

My novels are environmental legal thrillers/informative works. Those who have read them, ranging from retired engineers to young lawyers, believe they represent a cross between John Grisham and Danielle Steele, with a little Erin Brockovich thrown in for good measure. My first book, out for a few years now, has had good reviews across ages, genders, countries, and races. The story plot includes murder, romance, court room drama, interesting characters and plot twists as well as interesting facts and historical information about areas of interest in New York, San Diego, New Orleans, and other areas of Louisiana. As a former resident of and practicing lawyer in New Orleans, I was able to provide a unique perspective in this work.

A sequel to WITH MALICIOUS INTENT is also in the works.

Here are some unsolicited REVIEWS of With Malicious Intent!!
(Available for purchase in hardback or softcover through AuthorHouse.com, BarnesandNoble.com and hopefully local bookstores, and also in ebook Kindle format from Amazon.com):

TEN STARS!!! "I loved this book. I thought it was brilliant. I loved the fact that the chapters were short, which I feel, keeps you reading. sometimes long chapters can tire you out! It made a great break from all the sci-fi I've been reading lately. I loved the drama and I loved the romance between Rebecca and Wesley. (was not expecting that little twist . . . at the end.) - Bookcrosser gypsyrose02 (Seville Grove, Australia)

TEN STARS!!! "I started this when I got up yesterday, and finished it before I went to bed, I just couldn't put it down! I was really impressed with how gripping it was, it had a bit of something for everyone - murder, mystery, thriller, legal drama, romance, sex and twists galore at the end. Fabulous.
If you like John Grisham, but would prefer something a little less far fetched, and if you need a bit of romance, and also if you love to read a book, feel like you know exactly where it is going, and then get surprised with twist after twist in the last third then this is for you! Well done to M.T. Kingsley. I am looking forward to reading more of your books! Keep up the good work." - Bookcrosser Helly77 (Burnley, England, UK)

"I loved this book! This had it all, mystery, romance, and most important, a few unexpected twists. It describes places and people enough to let you feel like you know them without going overboard. The story flows along perfectly. It was a quick and easy read. I started it one night before going to sleep, intending to only read a few chapters. It held my interest and next thing I knew it was 4am and I had read the entire book." - Bookcrosser Readrmar(Lincoln, Nebraska, USA)

"This was a nice quick read. An intriguing and unnerving look into the world of environmental crime. The book starts with Rebecca, a dedicated environmental lawyer, discovering that she has a bleeding stomach ulcer. How unfair to walk around with a stomach ulcer in New Orleans, not allowed to eat all that yummy spicy cajun food!!! After that the pressure on this single hard working woman only gets more and more. This book has everything that a good thriller needs: murder, suspense, twists. Different from what a normally read, but nice for a change." - Bookcrosser Pluisje (Ngatea, Hauraki, New Zealand)

"I really enjoyed it. There's a few twists at the end that I wasn't expecting. It's got it all, murder, suspense, romance. The main character, Rebecca seemed very real to me. She works too much, single (I can relate to that) and is a good friend.... Great first book, hope there's many more to come." - Bookcrosser Heaven150 (Alberta, Canada)

"I loved it so much. I was really surprised right up until the end. I couldn't even guess what was going to happen next.... I literally couldn't put it down. I loved it!! There was not one part of it that I didn't like or had a different opinion than it was very very good and well written. I can't wait for a sequel!!! I have and will continue to recommend it. As I said before I bought it for a couple of people for presents and I will ask them to write about it on the website. I really can't say anything but good things about the book." - Abby B. (New York, USA)

"It was a captivating read. I was dreading and anticipating the next twist/action at the same time and couldn't put the book down. And the environmental pollution and its effects left a big knot in my gut." - Bookcrosser ekaterin4luv (Nurenberg, Germany)

"I LOVED your book. Just got back from Palm Springs with 10 "girls" that I grew up with and read your book on the plane.... You introduced the environmental info in a way that it wasn't overwhelming. I am waiting for the sequel...." - Bev L. (New York, USA)
