I've been reading for as long as I can remember. I used to wear out the batteries on my torch reading books after 'lights out,' which probably explains why I spend a fortune on contact lenses. I am married to a rare book dealer so there are always lots of books around the house, and my paperbacks are not given high priority when it comes to shelf space so Bookcrossing is an ideal way to free up space. With a very few exceptions, I do not register books on Bookcrossing that I want to keep as part of my permanent collection. Where books are listed as PC this is normally because I have lent them to another Bookcrosser who I trust not to read the book in the bath!
