Current wishlist book(s) for me: Things you'd save in a fire, House of Songbirds and Snakes

Summer of 2023 update: I just read all of the Armand Gamache mysteries by Louise Penny, highly recommend. Can be ready out of order if you are a heathen like me, if not, there's about 13 or so I think, so worth the read. "I'm F.I.N.E, f*Ed up, insecure, neurotic, and egotistical." Lol.
Northwest Michigan is beautiful, Southern California is beautiful. Life is good.
I am obsessed with books, news, food tv shows, and yelp. I love a good book, a hazelnut latte, cups of tea, see's candy....Crafts and music and coloring also top my list. Oh, and being outside, hiking, kayaking. I am no thrill seeker though. I have a healthy fear of too many things to list, but I try to not let my fears hold me back too much!
I am a California girl, originally. But, with divided loyalties. I grew up in the central coast, think Santa Barbara county. It (Santa Barbara) has changed quite a bit since I lived there. I left for college at 18, then lived there seasonally for at least three years. So, I headed to Northern CA for school and fell head over heels for Northern CA. Love it.
My parents moved to the midwest while I was in college, and we all live in MI now. Northwest Lower Peninsula. Mi is beautiful 3 seasons of the year, I haven't spent a winter there, so jury's still out on the 4th season.
Things I've been up to recently, or will be doing in the near future:
Vocational coach for students with disabilities, 18-26. We go worked at a local grocery last year, next year tbd
