Extended Profile
Well I am 24 and from a town called Blackburn which is in Lancashire, United Kingdom.
I am a Open University Student and have been since 2002.
I am doing a degree in Humanities (honours)possibly with Religion and I am on Level 3 at the moment which is the highest under graduate level within the OU.
I am doing one course at the moment that started in Jan and it is due to finish in the middle of October with a three hour exam. I am also doing two smaller courses at level one, one in Technology and the other in Business Studies. They finish in April and June.
I have started to learn to drive (2006) and wish I had started to learn years ago now because I love it!! It is amazing and I love getting behind the wheel. I did end up with a rubbish instructor at first and was having two hour lessons but I was only getting an hours worth so in 19 hours I got maybe 9 hours worth done. I stopped my lessons about two months ago and have been driving 25-60 miles on Saturdays in my dads car which I love. I know I have picked up some bad habits but I am going to start lessons again next month and shouldn't need many as I am a natural :O)
What else can I say about myself now I have board you all about my Open University stuff? Hello? Are you still awake out there???!!...are you still awake ;op
Well I love going to the cinema (pity I donn't get to go much) and watching the latest releases (not all, just the ones that interest me). I love listening to music too and have a diverse taste in music, anything from the 60s till now really but if I had to pick only one decade I would have to pick the 80s just because I love the Rock of the 80s ...oh and the pop.
Love watching films at home too and I am into Action and Adventure films which seems to surprize everyone. I do love comedys too but sometimes I like to sit there and watch "Air force one" or "independence day" or "Die Hard"....those sort of films. But saying that I must say one of my all time favourite films is "Jumpin' Jack Flash"....I just love that film....It ROCKS!
I love chatting to friends on the internet like on MSN etc...
I love shopping when I have the cash and I just love life I guess....
I have only really gotten into reading this year about March time (2005) when I got some Amazon vouchers and bought a couple of books. I don't normally have time to read books because of the amount of course work I have to do (tons of reading) but I have found I do enjoy it.
I haven't read that much books but once I get started on a book I do try to read it within a month. If it is really good and I can't put it down I normally read it in a few days but I have only read one book that I couldn't put down and that is The Da Vinci Code. I also loved The Long Way Round by Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boarman as well.
