I believe that God is good. I see evidence of this through others, through the world around us, and through his presence in great music, great literature, and wonderful people. I know - it sounds corny, very goody-goody. But he is everywhere, not just in church or in the Bible, everywhere.

I teach music to Kindergartners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th graders. I love it!!! It is a challenge and a blessing just about every day.

I also love playing the tuba. I love making beautiful music on such a beautiful instrument. I love the puzzled look on your face. "Did he say TUBA?" Yup!

Through my wife's passion for gardening, I have developed a love of Antique Roses. It's amazing to watch, over the period of a year or two, a rose bush climb and cover an arch! To see them grow and bloom is beautiful evidence of God's presence!

And to read a book that touches me... Now there is a blessing! There's something about inspired, well crafted literature that moves me; momentarily transports me from my reality. It is a wonderful gift to be lost in a book.
