Extended Profile
Books. YAY! I'm a voracious reader. I didn't have a tv as a kid, or siblings, so i read. ALL the time. Old habits… still don't have a tv or siblings, still read. ALL the time.
I live in Victoria, BC. I came here for university 13 years ago and just never left. There's something smugly satisfying about wearing sandals when the rest of the country is still sub-zero. It's relaxing here (too relaxing sometimes) but it really beats the emotional wasteland that is the Big City.
Other things, hmm… jazz (playing and listening), indy theatre/films, food, blah blah blah. All the usual stuff. I feel like i'm writing a personal ad. I'm queer. And political. Bad combination, i know, but you can't really be the former and not the latter.
I'm really hoping to find some books by the Women's Press.

I'm trying to get as many of them as i can find. Once i get my books registered, you'll see what they look like. They all have the little iron on the spine, so they're easy to spot, and the older ones have a white and black striped cover. They also did Women's Science Fiction Press. I will take any and all.
Also looking for Serendipity books.

Warm fuzzies from my very early childhood. And the illustrations are fantastic.
So, as i get books registered, p'raps i'll send them on their way. Sadly, i don't have internet access at home, so i have to do it from the office. Slowly.
***PLEASE NOTE most books in my permanent collection are available for LOAN unless they're too decrepit to travel.***
