As soon as I learned to read, I couldn't stop--and still can't. Right now I have 24 books waiting to be read, and I'm always on the lookout for more.
My favorite authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald, Laurie Colwin, Maud Hart Lovelace, Jane Smiley, Carol Shields, Maeve Binchy and many others too numerous to mention here.
I have also been a writer since I learned to write. My specialty used to be fiction, but now it's getting to be news stories. I worked as a reporter for five years, and now work in public relations.
