I'm Chantelle (Elle to most!)and I'm 16 years old.

Fav books are:

~ High Fidelity by Nick Hornby
(You really identify with the main character and Hornby is a brilliant writer)

~ The Other Boleyn Girl by Phillipa Gregory
(an amazing read, really draws you in and is an ABSOLUTE must read!)

~ My Legendary Girlfriend by Mike Gayle
(the male Bridget Jones - a hilarious read, again, you really identify with the lead character)

~ To Kill A Mockingbird
(A classic book which makes you think about others - as soppy as it sounds, it is a fantastic read!)

A confession:

I must confess that I am a lousy Bookcrossing member. The very first book I tried to free I found a week later - it was ripped, soaked and left on the pavement and I felt discouraged so I stopped releasing and just searched. But my new years resolution is to release at least ten books next year, and keep trying till at least 5 people find my books!

About me:

I'm in Year 13 at Bishop Stopford School (should be in Year 12 but I was moved up a year before you get confused about me being 16!) I'm taking Politics, English Lang and Lit and Theatre Studies for my A-Levels, and am currently applying to uni. I also have 3 sisters and 1 brother (all younger).

Weird fact:

I once spoke to Samantha Mumba on the phone - I rang a competition years ago where one caller would ring her lucky phone and it was me!

Hobbies:

Drama, Rock climbing, skiing, singing, reading, writing, watching Simpsons! ;)
