Extended Profile
"I'm not sure when I first became obsessed with stories. I was an early and avid reader of familiar childhood tales: "Rapunzel," "Little Red Riding Hood," "Goldilocks and the Three Bears," even the sad ending to "The Little Mermaid." Through these characters
and their adventures, I'd find not only entertainment and escape, but also connection and comfort. What's more though, these characters seemed both like and unlike me, their stories illuminated something about my own. And these reasons for loving stories are
true to me still."
