"Så många böcker, så lite tid"

Periodare när det gäller böcker och som har som mål att under semester och annan ledighet läsa minst en bok i veckan. Svag för lättsmälta feelgood-böcker men läser en hel del annat också.

Jag har alltid minst en bok på nattduksbordet och kan därför stämma in i följande citat ur Richards Flanagans bok The Narrow Road to the Deap North; "He had placed it on the darkwood bedside table next to his pillow aligning it carefully with his head. He believed books had an aura that that protected him, that without one beside him he would die. He happily slept without women. He never slept without a book."

Hittade en bra guide till betygsättning av böcker hos Vilda som i sin tur hittat den hos
TheDunedan och den använde jag fram till 4 mars 2015 (Til 4th och march 2015 I was using this system):
1 - only read a few pages
2 - read more than a few pages but didn't finish
3 - finished book, but more a chore than pleasure
4 - finished book , but wouldn't choose to read another by this author
5 - average, but wouldn't put me off another book by same author
6 - slightly better than average , would try author again
7 - better than average, would definitely read this author again
8 - Very good and enjoyable would look out for author again
9 – Very, very enjoyable, would recommend to others, possible permanent collection
10 - Excellent, definitely permanent collection, actively recommend to others

Från och med 5 mars 2015 använder jag istället följande (From 5th och march 2015 I'm using this system):
1 - only read a few pages, really not my type of book

2 - read more than a few pages but didn't finish

3 - finished book, but more a chore than pleasure

4 - finished book , but wouldn't choose to read another by this author

5 - OK, nothing more, nothing less

6 - Better than average, would try author again

7 - Very enjoyable but not a permanent collection.

8 - Very enjoyable. And if you catch a copy registered by me it is probably a duplet bought specially to pass around as my book is most certainly still in my library.
