When I learned about this site I immediately joined. My desire is to meet new people and share the joy of a good story.

I am a fairly new resident to the Netherlands. My Dutch is sadly lacking but I hope to enrich my present while sharing my past.

My favorite reading includes murder mysteries by Patricia Cornwell, Jonathan Kellerman, Lee Child, Micheal Connelly, J.A. Jance...

Series by Diana Gabaldon and Jean Auel are eagerly awaited. I found Auel's latest sadly lacking and Gabaldon's latest fantastic ! I have read one of Anne Rice's books and may again.

I enjoy sci-fi such as X-Files, and Star Trek type books, Dean Koontz, Micheal Criton.

And I will admit to reading trashy novels when I do not want to think.

And a few magazines such as Organic Style and National Geographic. I think my first choice of " what I want to be when I grow up" was a photographer for NG. No such luck, but I never took action so I will not complain.
