I love to read. When I was little durning the summer my mom would take me and my sister to the library. We would each pick out a book to read and one for my mom to read to us. The three of us shared a loft while we visited my Grandpa durning the summer and my mom would read us a chapter of the book we picked every night right before we went to sleep and after we had read some of our own books. I loved having my mom read to me and I look forward to reading to my own children some day.

My favorite books are The Mitford Series by Jan Karon, Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, Three Sister Island Trilogy by Nora Roberts, Stephanie Plum Mystery Series by Janet Evanovich, Turn of the Screw by Henry James (although I did not sleep for a few days after reading this), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith, Annie Dillard, and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.

I am looking for some books to read, so if anyone has any suggestions for me I would appreciate it. The books I am not wild about are science fiction, Stephen King, or anything really gory.

Hopefully I will have some books to share with everyone too.
