As an avid, life-long reader, I am thrilled to have an organized avenue to get books to others, and to have fun doing it. I'm a semi-retired, self-employed-part-time-at-home woman whose greatest joy in life is her wonderful grandsons, through whose eyes I continue to explore the world. The boys and I enjoy many adventures together, often through or accompanied by books. I also love to travel, especially to beaches. Sometimes I snorkel or sail, sometimes I lie on the beach and -- you guessed it -- read. I keep a list of "I want to read's" in my purse, updating it often. I'm an eclectic reader whose appetites are changeable -- sometimes mysteries, sometimes horror, some religious fiction, a romance novel once in a while, a spy novel for spice. Anything concerning mental health/psychology is especially interesting to me, as I worked in the field for years. Biographies occasionally capture my interest. For me, reading is great fun, not to be taken too seriously, but always to be enjoyed.
