I live in Venice, CA in a typical small house, so my whole library is in the garage.
I'm married and have a 10 year old son. I have a degree in Theatre and perform on stage when I can. I have also been practicing yoga for 18 years.
My taste is literature and non-fiction, with a special interest in travel and cultures (esp. Middle East and Africa), adventure (especially seafaring), memoirs, literary criticism and urban planning. I also get the occasional craving for a British mystery ala PD James or Ruth Rendell. Favorite authors are Michael Chabon, Haruki Murakami, Jon Krakauer, Tony Horwitz, Sebastian Junger, Nick Hornby, Garrison Keillor, Amy Bender, Jumpha Lahiri, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and many others.
