About me: 'allo. I'm a 20-something in her first apartment with her husband. I'll read anything that catches my fancy, usually I tend toward fantasy, sci-fi, and historical fictions. I like to trade and do RABCKs, so if you want a book, PM me or email me. moods.imood.com/---/imood.gif" alt="The current mood of jessy at www.imood.com" border="0"> |

Stuff: See what challenges I'm participating in, as well as what I've read this year See my Wild Releases! |
Status symbols on my shelf that I've set: TBR (To Be Released) - means I haven't read the book yet. It probably means I've just gotten it (buying or trading) and haven't read it yet. You can PM and ask me to hold it for you, but I reserve the right to refuse. Also know that if you ask, there's no guarentee how soon I will be done with it, as my TBR pile is quite large usually. AVL (Available) - means that I have the book sitting around. I might have a half formed plan or not, but if you PM and ask for it, there'a a good chance I'll send it to you. PC (Permanent/Private Collection) - These are books that I want to keep around. I might loan them to you, but if I do I expect them back. If they come back damaged, I will be most unhappy. You can ask to borrow them. I might check up on your first ;) Basically, these are my babies as far as books I've registered go. Why register them then? Because I want to see the reactions the people I loan them to have concerning them. But I don't want them to travel far away from me forever. Make sense? RES (Reserved) - means that I have plans. Bwahaha. No, seriously though, it means that I've probably got a good idea of who would love to read this next. It probably means that I've shipped it to them or plan to shortly. If you see this and want it, PM me and I'll talk to the people I want to send them to and see if they're willing to send it to you after they're done with it. TRAV (Traveling) - Books I released. I don't want to keep ones here if I've read them and don't know who exactly would want them next so I free them. Click on them to see where I left 'em and if you're interested, go pick them up. |
Rating system I'm going to (try to) use: 10: Excellent, at the top of its category. 9: Great book - just a nitpick stands between it and a 10. 8: Good, solid book, worth rereading. 7: Good book, but I wouldn't read it again. 6: Decent, but not my type of book. 5: Only OK. Barely worth reading. The line between taking it and leaving it is very thin. 4: Maybe somebody else would like this. I didn't. 2-3: Has major problems. I don't recommend it. 1: It's hard to imagine anyone liking this book. |
