26 year old book worm. Married to an understanding gal who is a closet book geek.
I find reading a very important part of life. I hold a BA in English Literature and pursued graduate study in that direction. Now, I play in the 9-5 world and miss having great discussions about literature. Few members of my visible peer group read. I doubt if they even read a book since they graduated!
I found this page out of dumb luck and can't wait to release books in the open. It is like the old saying: "If you can't pay something back, pay it forward." I feel blessed to find a community of like minded people. I don't feel like the only bookworm on the block!
Book Wish List:
1.)Learn Ancient Greek by Peter Jones
2.)A scholarly version of Sun Tzu's Art of War
3.)The complete works of Tacitus.
4.)Any parallel version of Aristotle, Ceasar, or Cicero.
5.) The new Cormac McCarthy novel. (I forgot the title).
6.) Any book on Architecture that is easy for the lay person.
7.) Martin Luther's Table Talk.
8.) Any one of those Worst Case Scenario Handbooks, especially the one about work...
