Extended Profile
I adopted South Carolina as my permanent home in 1979. I'm a writer and editor, specializing in character studies of women of the 19th-century South. My latest book is
City of Heroes: The Great Charleston Earthquake of 1886 (Corinthian Books, 2006), and I recently released into the wild several copies of my infamous novel,
The Redneck Riviera, set in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was published in 2001, also by Corinthian Books (www.corinthianbooks.com). I love the company of readers and fellow writers. Feel free to drop me an email at [email protected] if
you run into any of my books. Questions / comments always welcome! And I'd be honored if, after reading any of my books, you'd post a review on Amazon.com or bn.com! -- Richard N. ("Dick") Côté.
