A bit about me:
I love reading and sharing books with friends. One of my favorite things to do is browse used book stores, and finding books which I think someone may enjoy.
I have eclectic tastes. Lately its been leaning towards Italy (history/people), NY + NYers, bios, interesting non-fic, and always art books (history, bios, art/society, etc).
Bookcrossing just seemed like the perfect place to pass books on to others.
NYC Bookcrossing on yahoo is open for anyone to join, seasoned bookcrossers and newbies alike. Our group had met regularly in the city to share life stories, friendship and books.
My health and family issues have kept me from scheduling and running the group for a while now. But stop by the site and say howdy sometime. If/when I'm feeling up for it again, I may set up meetings in the future, but at the moment its just not in me.
I make organic, one-of-a-kind beaded jewelry with semi-precious stones and glass beads. A sample of my work can be seen on livejournal and yvi-1's bookcrossing gallery site crustytapioca.com. thanks for hosting, yvi-1.
Spent my life doing arty and non-profit things, and its been oodles of fun. But now I need to rest and take care of things at home.
Still love art, music, the arts, belly dancing, yoga, and getting out of the house and into
fresh air when I can!
