I am a long-time resident of a small town in the middle of New Mexico's Rio Grande valley. In addition to reading, I enjoy bird watching at the Bosque del Apache. You might know Socorro from pictures of the nearby VLA, a radio telescope with 27 dishes
stretching across the Plains of St. Augustin. Socorro is home to New Mexico Tech and some of the best green chile on the planet.
