I am a lifelong Alaskan with a passion for good literature (and sometimes bad literature that is a fun read). I am a particular fan of Hemingway, Joyce, London, and Twain. I also love to read some more modern releases: Anything by Ellis Peters, Anne McCaffrey, Andrew Greeley, Greg Bear, P.D. James, etc. Favorite recent reads include Frank McCourt, David Brin, and Isabelle Allende. I'm well versed in Alaskana as well, and love to collect beautifully written and illustrated children's books.

I'm a radio news director and reporter, who loves to ski, hike, hunt, fish, cook, and occationally write.
