I was a teacher in bush Alaska, but now I fish. I love reading (of course) as well as fishing and hunting (with my chocolate lab). I love participating in various sports, but spend little time following professional teams. My favorite book (and movie) is A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean. In high school and early college, I had an intense interest in the stories of Ernest Hemingway.
