Extended Profile
Canongate Books is an independent publisher based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Following a management buyout in 1994, Canongate has emerged as one of the most dynamic publishing houses in Britain. Canongate continues to nurture and publish new talent from around
the world, whilst retaining the essence of the Scottish Canon.
We have no specific agenda other than to promote and publish challenging, quality work from as broad a perspective as we are able.
About our OBCZ
Our bookshelves are located on the ground floor of the Oliver & Boyd building, Tweeddale Court, 14 High Street. We're opposite the Scottish Storytelling Centre. The doors are open usually between 8.30am and 7.00pm, Monday - Friday.
BookCrossers are welcome to pop by to drop off books, but as part of safety regulations, we ask that you please use the bookshelves only, as placing them on the floor obstructs the passageway.
If you are able to PM us prior to dropping off books without BCIDs, please do so.
