Extended Profile
I present interpretive, illustrated lectures on accomplished women such as Sylvia Plath, Camille Claudel, and Olga Ivinskaya. I used to teach writing on the college level as an adjunct professor. Now I supplement my "Phenomenal Women" lecture series with
office temping and doing scientific presentations at birthday parties. I also facilitate book discussions for the Pennsylvania Humanities Council.
My BA is in English; my MA in the humanities. I returned to college in my late 30s.
I would rather read than just about anything, except perhaps receive a foot massage from Johnny Depp.
I love The Prince of Tides (Conroy), Orlando (Woolf), and The Vampire Chronicles. I like film, too. I write poetry--of course.
I am not the easiest person to get along with day after day, but in small doses, I am quite entertaining.
