Extended Profile
I mostly read horror/sci-fi/general weirdness but I've been on a historical fiction kick lately; "Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague" by Geraldine Brooks and "Slammerkin" by Emma Donoghue among my favorites.
A few other good books I've read within the last year (or so):
"Adams Fall" by Sean Desmond
"The Third Witch: A Novel" by Rebecca Reisert
"Five Mile House" by Karen Novak
"Wicked" by Gregory Maguire

I'm probably going to be moving soon and I've a ton of books to set free. Many of the books I've registered are ones that I have duplicates of, some are books my family or a friend has given to me for some reason or another. Others I've just "outgrown". Some of the books will be those that my children don't want any longer (they have tons of books, too!). I have asked some friends and co-workers to clean out their bookshelves and give to me the books they no longer want, so I can register them and send them out into the world, too (the books, not my friends and co-workers...)
