I'm Tom, a 50-something newspaper guy who has worked as a reporter and editor in New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and now Florida. Grew up in a small town on the NY-Mass. border; Syracuse U. grad, class of '68. During grad school, I had a chance to live in India for a year. In the years that followed, I lived in Albany, N.Y., Buffalo, Springfield, Mass., Boston, Providence, and currently the Daytona Beach area. In 2001 I launched an Internet bookselling business, KingChamp Books, as a sideline business. My reading interests are broad, but I collect theology related to "historical Jesus" studies, plus William Kennedy novels and the history of the Albany, N.Y., area. Also am active in the Metropolitan Community Church. My partner & I recently traveled to UK, so books about England are starting to pile up around the house!
