I've enclosed a photo of my beloved Betta, Mr Woo, with one of his masterfully executed bubblenests. He's one of the friends who bring joy into my life. Then there are books. We were read to as very small children and my enjoyment of ideas, places and creative work experienced through books goes on to this very day. I tend to like non-fiction better and shorter poetic works. I majored in English in college and read enough there so all I wanted to read was trashy stuff like World Weekly News and such when I got out. Right now fiction grates on my nerves for whatever reason.
For poets, I like William Carlos Williams probably the best. He doesn't mess around with words. Straight to the point, less is more. It's the best way. I just treated myself to a sub. to Poetry Magazine from Chicago. Good stuff.
