I guess I consider myself an active BookCrosser by now. How do I know? Everyone in the vicinity rolls their eyes wildly when I mention BookCrossing. I love the site and the concept. I've read books lately that I never would have picked out at a book store.
Like "Catholic Girls." Great book, but one I never would have chosen on my own.
I've found that friends I thought for sure were readers are not. And I've identified several friends who surprised me with their passion for books. Best of all: I've got about 30 books by the side of my bed screaming "read me, read me." It's getting hard to sleep.
