*****************************************************
I love becoming absorbed in the world of books and have so many that it's time I set a few free ...
My wish : I'd love to release some Australian, and particularly local Queensland and Brisbane authors' books to other countries and to fulfil other people's wishes.
What sort of books do I like reading?
My favourite genres are murder/mystery/crime; biographies; general fiction and comedy; and books about travel, other countries and cultures. I also love animals - particularly cats, so they quite often feature in the books that I read. I quite often enjoy reading books which relate to movies/documentaries that I've seen - another dangerous obssession of mine!
My favourite authors:
MURDER/MYSTER/CRIME
Australia authors: Kerry Greenwood (Phrynne Fisher and Corinna Chapman series), Barry Maitland , Marele Day : UK authors: Ian Rankin , Magdalen Nabb , MC Beaton (Hamish MacBeth and Agatha Raisin series), Agatha Christie, Simon Brett (Mrs Pargeter series), Reginal Hill (Dalziel and Pascoe series), John Le Carre, Ruth Rendell; American authors: Carole Nelson Douglas (Midnight Louie & Irene series), Kathy Reichs. Have recently discovered and enjoyed Paul Auster adn Jasper Fforder.
GENERAL/COMEDY
UK authors: Stephen Fry, Ben Elton, Roddy Doyle, Sue Townsend, Douglas Adams; Australian authors: Bryce Courtenay; American authors: Oliver Sachs, Armistead Maupin.

You Are Impressionism |
You think the world is quite beautiful, especially if you look at it in new and interesting ways. You tend to focus on color and movement in art. For you, seeing the big picture is much more important than recording every little detail. You can find inspiration anywhere... especially from nature. |
