Hi - I'm Kristi (midwinter in my other bookcrossing incarnation), and I'm the host for the Wilde Playhouse Official Bookcrossing Zone, or OBCZ.
Why the Wilde?
Wilde Playhouse is named for the great author/playwright Oscar Wilde and located in historic downtown Tucson across the street from the Chicago Store - 135 E Congress - just west of the intersection of Congress & 6th Ave. There's a full service cafe featuring to-die-for desserts, sandwiches, coffees and teas, and a wonderful selection of beers and wines from around the world. The Playhouse is home to a unique brand of live theatre. The stage is only a few inches off the floor, and tables and comfy couches put you, the audience, right in the thick of the action. It's a truly unique - intimate and interactive - theatre experience. The ambience of the historic building only adds to the fun.
When I first walked into the Playhouse, all I could think was "What a cool place to hang out and read a book!", so I approached the owner about setting up an OBCZ in her building.
And thus, the Wilde OBCZ was born.
Come early for a show, enjoy an iced coffee or wine, enjoy the ambiance, and take a book when you leave! The Wilde also has wi-fi internet access, so you can bring a laptop and surf the 'net for free.
For a schedule of events, and more information, check the Wilde's web site at wildeplayhouse.com
And when you stop by, be sure to say "hi" to the owner, Joan O’Dwyer - "oscar-wilde" (pictured here):

All downtown parking meters are FREE after 5pm on weekdays, and ALL DAY on weekends! Park in front of the Chicago Store on Congress St, across from the Ronstadt Transit Center on 6th Avenue, or any other spot you can find. Parking isn't nearly the nightmare everyone claims!
