I'm in the process of logging the entire Archives, in anticipation of dispersing what I can no longer retain in my limited living space.
For any book marked 'reserved', it means I've got a particular recipient in mind, once the volumes start to travel. Volumes marked 'available' will be the earliest disseminated, starting with locations here in the North Bay, as I can tie spaces down.
This actually refers to Thos. Jefferson, but it applies here:
“The physical collection is not as critical as what it represents intellectually,” Ms. Tay said. “What did he read? Where did he get his ideas? What influenced him?”
