Extended Profile
Hi,
my name is Bernd ( M ) and I live and work in Frankfurt/Germany
Here you can read about my favourite ways to waste my time:
1. Books - more books - lots of books!
My favourite subjects are biographies, books about history
and last but not least travel books.
2. Walking - as menber of a walking group for many years by now, I
like to plan and organize daytrips and weekend tours for the
group. To experience nature in the company of others is my
way to relax.
3. Making new friends by snail mail. To start a correspondence
about culture and society with penfriends around the world
is a pleasant way to broaden one's view.
4. Strolling across the Frankfurt fleamarket and browse for odds
and ends, mainly old pottery, postcards, cds, and books!!!
5. Cooking is my way to be creative - I like it hot + spicy - but so
far no harm seems to be done.
6. My favourite travel destinations are France and GB.
Last year's holiday in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull / Scotland
- its impressing landscape, wildlife, puffins
and other rare seabirds - and the round trip to Bath and
Brighton that followed, were certainly highlights.
Books read since 25.10.2005:
1. The Return of Sherlock Holmes
2. Let It Bleed ( Ian Rankin )
