Extended Profile
I'm a die-hard book lover, and have been since I taught myself to read at the age of four! Now I'm in my mid-20s and would like to expand my horizons with strange, rare, foreign, and different books that I can't find in my local library! I will mainly
send books out 'into the wild' but I am willing to ship a book out if I have someone's special request book on my shelf and am willing to part with it.
My favorite genres are plays/scripts, European history (especially royal families), historical fiction, memoirs, fantasy, and classics. I don't really have any 'favorite' authors, but I am drawn to the Bronte Sisters, Neil Simon, and Antonia Fraiser in particular. My favorite book of all time, you ask? JANE EYRE! I am the proud owner of a first-edition British copy of Jane Eyre in decent condition (sorry, I'm NEVER letting that one out of my sight!). It is my baby.
My other loves include: tea (all kinds, but the more exotic, the better), chocolate (Kit Kats are my fav, but I also have an affinity for trying foreign candy bars from all over), Doctor Who, postcards from all over the world (I collect them), Japanese culture in all it's forms, and cats. I adore cats (I have two fatbutt kitties, Eimer, who's 18 years young, and Ninja, a 1-year-old who eats bugs and vegetables).
