BACKGROUND
I'm married with 3 grown children. I heard about Bookcrossing on the radio and have been hooked ever since. Yahoo!!

BOOKSHELF: Books on my bookshelf are not necessarily books that I like to read. Books in my "real" permanent collection ( see favourite authors) give a more accurate idea of my preferences, although most of my permanent collection has not been registered.

AVAILABLE books will be released at some stage, so if you want to trade just ask. I will also bump up any of my TBR's if anyone wants one.

AUTHORS i like (or have liked in the past) : Rohinton Mistry, Arundhati Roy, Amitav Ghosh, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Dostoyesvsky, Doris Lessing, Margaret Atwood, Hermann Hesse, Matthew Pearl, Anita Shreve, John McGahern, Chaim Potok, Kate O'Riordan, Hilary Mantel, Patrick Gale, Colm Toibin,Isabel Allende, Ian McEwan, Barbara Kingsolver.

Favourite authors at the moment: Barbara Kingsolver, Ian McEwan, Colm Toibin.

Book Rings/rays I'm waiting for are:

"The Life of Charlotte Bronte" (nordie)
"The Bone Woman" (frangipani08)
