So what's The Resource all about?
The Resource is a place for people with mental health needs, carers of people with mental health needs, people with learning difficulties, and carers of people with learning difficulties.
The Resource is here to enable people to:
Be able to find out and share good information about mental health and learning difficulties and caring;
Get good skills, use the skills you already have and have a chance to share those skills with others;
Choose if you want to be involved in the way that health services are developed and designed;
Know that you are the expert about your own life and that your expertise can help change services for the better.
The Resource is not just a place, we work across Nottinghamshire:
...Ashfield...Bassetlaw...Broxtowe...Gedling...Newark...Nottingham City...Mansfield...Rushcliffe...Sherwood district...
The Resource does have a reading group with members from across Nottinghamshire, and is an Official BookCrossing Zone (OCBZ).
