Hello fellow booklovers! I'm so "happy" I found this site. I have so many
books to get registered and finally "release". What a wonderful idea!
I started reading at a very young age and have continued to do this.
When I go out shopping with my children, we do some things together
and then we seperate and meet up later. They all know that I'm heading
for a bookstore somewhere. I go into every place I see and have a look
around. It can be "brand" new books or a "second" hand place.
I go to every library near and around the small town where I live. I even
have a fabulous library and bookstore where my summer place is. WOW!!
Everyone knows me by my first name. I have successfully gotten my
four children to read too. Now I'm working on my 5 grandchildren.
They all love books too. Even the youngest one who is now 2, has been
looking at books for months now. He brings books to me to read to him.
He goes to the bookshelf and picks one or more and climbs up on my
knee and we read them. This is such a great feeling of accomplishment
for me! I have planted a "seed" for learning! My heart is so happy!
This they will have forever. I read mystery, fiction, auto-biographies,
literature and self help books. I'm not into Sci-fi. I don't read romance
unless it is more the "historical" type. I also like to read a new author.
Check them out etc. I hope this gives you an idea of who I am.
I'll be watching to see what is new here and hope to meet some more
