Extended Profile
I love playing yenta between reader and book. I'm a little rusty at it though.
Much of my reading in the last few years has been dictated by need. Am working on renewing my love of leisure reading (where'd it go?).
Genres: quirky, irreverent or dark humor (so long as it isn't mean spirited); literary fiction; poetry; social history; humorous memoirs; books about herbs and gardening; old cookbooks; ... am trying to resist graphic novels but find myself drawn to them. (hah, "drawn" to them. Yes, be warned ... love puns. The stinky-badder the better.)
