Hi,
I've been an avid reader since I was little. I had difficulty learning to read but due to a wonderful teacher named Mr. Stevens I mastered it. I now have children of my own and have been known to take in "strays" as one referred to himself. Some are of the two legged variety and some of the four legged sort. I love working with children of all ages and particularly like to help those who have had difficulties in learning and in sometimes other problems.

I've been collecting books since I was young. I'm a firm believer that reading to a child while still in the womb makes a big difference. I have an ever growning personal collection of books on a wide range of topics. I love to share my love of reading. I have some books that I'm willing to set free and in some cases I've bought copies and am setting those free. I'm also looking for some books that I read as a child that I want my children to read. I'm also hoping to get more people in my area involved in BookCrossing.com.

And on a note of personal opinion: Always pay close attention to what the children around you say, no matter their age, you might learn something surprising. Their view of the world is amazing.
