Extended Profile
I'm reading all the time, mostly fiction (I was an English major in college), some history and biography, and not as many mysteries now as in earlier years. In preparing for moving back to Virginia, I cleared out my bookshelves and hope to rely more on
the local library. It's hard to give them up, but BookCrossing reassures me that someone else will make good use of them.
Thanks to my high-school and college chums, Rich, Walt, and Tim, for featuring BookCrossing.com as their Link of the Day in a recent issue of their daily e-zine, RecipeduJour. It's a combination of recipes, literary chat, writing, and boomer nostalgia. If that combination intrigues you, go to www.RecipeduJour.com. You can search archived recipes, archived columns, or sign up for the e-zine mailing list.
My Wish List:
The Travelling Hornplayer by Barbara Trapido
Charles Todd's Ian Rutledge mysteries
Alan Furst's historical, spy-novels set in WWII Europe
A hardback copy of The Book Thief
