Extended Profile
Thanks for stopping by and reading my profile.
I love Book Crossing and think it's a great idea, although I have not kept quite as 'Up-to-Date' as I originally intended!! In reality, I tend to do big updates in the school holidays as I am pretty busy during term time. I first came across Book Crossing when my Aunt 'found' a book which absolutely made her day. She, like me, is an avid reader although (lucky thing) she has more time to devote to books than I do!
I am a primary school teacher, which I love, and one of the best things is being able to read a really good story and get the kids hanging on for every word or page turn. Mostly I read at bedtime, so something quite light and easy, but during the holidays I love to read something I have to concentrate harder on! Jodi Picoult is quite a favourite author recently, my favourite one of hers is 'The Pact,' so far anyway. It has a great passage about Mums and sons that I really identified with, and so although I've lent it out to friends, that's one title I always like returned.

My Wish List (Thanks Cliff) I try not to be too greedy here! Also, whenever I get one of those lovely RABCK's dropping through my letter box, I try and extend the favour by sending one of my own if I can. I could add to the list generally by saying 'Anything you'd care to recommend!' When I used to use the library on a more regular basis, I had a system of choosing:- One Favourite Author, One Favourite genre, and One Totally Random Choice!
I've decided to remove my 'Books Read' List - I'm too busy reading to keep it up to date!!!!
