Born in Leeds I now live here with my husband Nick after spells elsewhere in West Yorks, both work in the city so can't read on the commute! Sadly work and other hobbies get in the way of my reading habit too often - not so much the other interests but definitely the work ;-) - still it funds my book habit! Trying to make more time for it.

Love to read anything and everything - quite into Louis de Bernieres at the mo and have just finished the South American trilogy - also loved "An Instance of the Fingerpost" and "Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell" - both recent reads which took a bit longer than my "book in a day" standard for holiday reading!

Fave places to read - at home in the garden, bath or bed; away, a quiet beach or balcony with a view of the sea or mountains (as long as its not too hot)!

Love the idea of this site and was thrilled to actually see my first release picked up! Have passed on to friends and planning to release more soon!
