Extended Profile
I'm a rabid writer and LJer - my LiveJournal is "friends only" - "Karlita" - I'm maxed out right now at 750 friends, but empty slots do come available.
I live near Emory in a totally 1950's house - full of my funky vintage furniture collection - called RetroHaven(tm).
My BookCrossing Adventure has brought me friends from different parts of the country, opened up interesting conversations, allowed me to make a contribution in places I might never had had an opportunity, most recently be interviewed with other BookCrossers for our local weekly paper, Creative Loafing, and generally feel HAPPY every time I think about BookCrossing!
I feel that BookCrossing is a good cause, and I'm delighted to talk about it and promote it.
Literacy and Books are just a darned wonderful thing. I love to read, and sharing the joy of reading and the adventure of a new book is just the biggest delight ever!
BookCrossing is such a simple, yet expansive, tool to do this.
