Extended Profile
I'm a single mom, one fine son in college, the other married with one son and a second baby on the way ... who surely will want his Grandmommy to read stories to him. My parents are great readers too (tho Dad never could grasp the "read and release" concept),
as are my older son, his bride and my sister-in-law, so we enjoy swapping recommendations and often the actual books.
I love books and love to read, but my house is filling up. With new books coming in each month for my three book clubs, and books from my parents who are trying to clear out THEIR place ... well we've long ago passed the capacity of our bookshelves, and there's no more space to put more.
I've been donating my used magazines for a couple of years now by dropping them off in the waiting rooms of various places I visit, and have had lots of appreciative comments from having done so. This Bookcrossing arrangement just expands on what I've been doing all along. I've tried a few BookRays; and the Bookcrossing MeetUps are fun too!
