I heard about BookCrossing from an online friend who mentioned it in one of her excellent emails, always full of interesting information.

I am a resident of Florida since 1963 when my family moved to Rockledge so my dad could work at NASA. I still have a great interest in space and the history of the Apollo program. I am also interested in Florida history and visiting interesting places in Florida. I am a grandfather and geocacher. When I learned about BookCrossing it seemed like a natural extension of placing things in the wild so they may be found and finding new places in Florida to leave books. Plus I have books I need to set free! I was surprised by the few number of Florida BookCrossers, but those that are here seem very active. This looks like a lot of fun!!
