Extended Profile
Hello, I am a single lady and I am "semi-retired". I discovered BookCrossing by accident. Just when I was trying to figure out what to do with the books that I "inherited" from my aunt and my parents, here was a perfect
solution. Another bonus is that this means of "recycling" books would allow me to share with others my treasured old friends (books) and free up valuable bookshelf space.
My interests are:
Because of my working status I am not in a position to mail books. My TBR list is really long so I am not here to acquire new books. I am getting better at the wild releases. I am looking forward to the day that my local Panera or Coffee Bean and Tea shops get a OCBZ shelf. If I can find a coffee bar that will let me do larger releases, I should be able to increase how many books I am letting go. While it is fun when someone "catches" a book, I don't live to see a new Journal entry. My ultimate goal it to have almost bare book shelves.
Review of 2008 goals. I managed to keep track of what I read in 2008. I read far fewer books than in the past because I am not making as much money as I once did. I discovered crocheted socks and managed to complete lots of socks (even 2 complete pair).
My goals for 2009 are:

My goals for 2009 are:
- To continue keeping track of all the books that I read
- Finish and market my first cross stitch design
- Keep track of all the XS and crocheted projects that I finish
- Read at least 30 books
- Get over my fear of wild releases.
