Extended Profile
When I get hold of a book I admire,
I am so enthusiastic that
I loan it to someone who never brings it back.
-- Ed Howe
My love of books, and inability to get them back to the library on time, has evolved into a small family bookstore. You can visit our homepage with the link above.
I am fascinated by the idea of tracking books, connecting with the other readers, and comparing notes, so to speak. But as I see it, the biggest potential for this movement is in encouraging a lifelong love of reading in children. As much as it breaks my heart, there are children growing up in homes with no books, so I like to leave a children's title someplace --
planting seeds for a more literate tomorrow.
