Hi! I am a sort of 50-ish (jeez that sounds old! I admit it, I AM 50) year old female. I live in north central Iowa, about 100 miles north of Des Moines, the capitol city of Iowa. My husband and I settled here three years ago to be near our married daughter and her two children (Grand children, God's reward for not killing your own children!!) I love to read. I read novels, biographies, newspapers, cereal boxes, magazines, technical manuals, and BOOKS. Out of our four children, I only managed to pass along my love of reading to one of our daughters. But she and I share books all the time. Scrapbooking is another of my passions. My husband is a truck driver and going to retire soon. We hope to travel and just enjoy life together.
