Extended Profile
I have always loved books and reading. I couldn't wait to start school, where they would teach me to "really read." Every summer when I was young I participated in the Summer Reading Program, and the best thing about getting my driver's license was that
I could take myself to the library whenever I wanted. I generally have 8-10 library books checked out at any one time, along with a stack of books-I-own that I need to read.
In the interest of decluttering, and of letting go of "stuff," I had planned to donate many of my books to the Planned Parenthood book sale. Fortunately a friend discovered and recommended Bookcrossing.com. Now I'm getting rid of my old books more slowly, but I'm having a lot more fun. And, maybe, if I'm lucky, banking a little good karma.
