Extended Profile
My interest in Bookcrossing began with a free craft book. I had it approximately a year before I registered it as caught and then only as I was intending on taking it back!!
Surprise before my eyes!!! What a way of spring cleaning our shelves thought I. As we whittled down our book collection at passing bus stops, some books emerged from the dusty depths that just had to be handed on to folks who were 'just the reader' for each specific gem.
Whilst postage costs escalated a dying bookcase was escorted off the premises and treasured books arranged themselves about the house in appropriate groupings, just to tempt and tease us into a browse or more.
What's that I hear . . . the postie with a parcel . . . excuse me . . . new book arriving . . .
