Extended Profile
Updated August 1, 2022
**PLEASE BE AWARE - I relocated to Tucson, Arizona in February of 2020**
ALSO NOTE: I work as an ER nurse and am slowly coming back into the world as COVID-19 (hopefully) winds down. I apologize for any delays to PMs.
My bookshelf is in no way a reflection of my taste in books. In fact, though a great number of books on my shelf are mystery/thrillers and romances, those are genres I very rarely (or in the case of romances -- never) read.
Mine is a animal-friendly home, so any books of mine may be lightly dusted with cat hairs.
As of August 1, 2022 I have read 32 books this year. I read 70 in 2021, 55 in 2020, 76 in 2019, 79 in 2018, 67 in 2017, 60 in 2016, 52 in 2015, 49 in 2014, 55 in 2013, 68 in 2012, 54 in 2011, 44 in 2010, 78 in 2009, 74 in 2008, 99 in 2007, 65 in 2006, 95 in 2005, and 77 in 2004. For those interested, the lists for each year can be found on my Goodreads profile.
Personal challenge:I've mailed a book to every one of the US states and am now working on personally wild releasing one in each state as well. I've done 39 so far: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma,Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming. I've also released in Washington D.C. and two other countries: Mexico and Canada!
Some of my favorite journal entries on wild releases
Lovey: A Very Special Child
Hannibal
Entering the Stone: On Caves and Feeling Through the Dark
The Queen's Fool
The Lions of Lucerne
