Extended Profile
Some favourite contemporary authors: Mavis Cheek, Sarah Waters, Ruth Rendell, Elizabeth George, Minette Walters, Peter Robinson, Stuart Pawson, David Lawrence, Stephen Booth.
Some favourite classic authors: Charles Dickens, George Eliot, Charlotte Brontë, Jane Austen, Edith Wharton, Honoré de Balzac.
The books I have available are mostly:
1. Fiction - psychological thrillers and contemporary fiction. Some are in English, some in French.
2. Non-fiction - philosophy (epistemology, social and moral philosophy), and sociology.
In addition to the above authors, I am interested in:
1. 19th century rural England and agricultural life (especially counties of Berkshire and Wiltshire)
2. Knitting books, especially vintage patterns
3. Keeping domestic chickens
4. Rural French life (especially Normandy)
